Product Details
Description With the demands of today's
rigorous competition, it's imperative to support your equine athlete from inception
through the growing stages. The Developmental Formulas are designed to build and
maintain that strong equine foundation for broodmares, foals and stallions. Your
broodmares and recipient mares need to be on the Developmental Formula when
breeding commences. Balancing ration formulations in estrus, growth and
maturation is crucial in the prevention of increasingly occurring developmental
orthopedic diseases. There is significant research to support nutrition holding the
greatest promise for reducing the severity and instance of developmental
orthopedic diseases due to it being the only factor under direct control.
Developmental Formulas are devised to properly balance the sensitive
calcium:phosphorus ratio. If an imbalance occurs, it will impair proper growth, which
will lead to skeletal malformations, poor growth and muscle disorders.
Just
imagine, all of this peace of mind can be delivered with just two scoops a day.

Product Testimonials
The importance of nutrition in a pregnant mare is very important. The Developmental Formula enables them to get the trace minerals and micro-nutrients in order for that foal to develop in utero and after it’s born.
Jeffrey Foland, DVM
Since we incorporated Core Balance’s Developmental product in our breeding program, we have seen significant improvements to our foals and the overall health of our breeding mares.
Casey Connally, RCJ Cutting Horses LLC
Assistant Manager
We have been feeding Core Balance Developmental Formula to all of our weanlings, broodmares and recipient mares since July of 2013. The difference in our babies is stunning. They are bigger, have improved bone mass and their hair coats are shiny and healthy looking. Plus, all yearlings radiographed clean except one with a very insignificant OCD in her ankle. Since our donor mares and recipient mares have been on the Developmental Formula throughout their breeding season and gestation, we feel 100% confident that our 2015 foal crop will be even better that our 2014’s. We are huge believers in the broad ranging benefits of supplementing our breeding and performance stock with Core Balance. You have a customer for life at the Circle Y
Ranch.

One of the big issues as an equine practitioner is developmental orthopaedic disease in foals. It is multifactorial. The first thing is genetics, then biomechanical stress or traumatic injury, and then there is nutrition. As a veterinarian, nutrition in the broodmare is the one thing I can control. It’s really important to have something like the Developmental Formula to feed them.
Bruce Hebert, DVM
The pregnant mare’s nutrition is just as, if not more, important because they are building a baby inside of them.
